2016-2017 SC 4-H Membership and Event Permission Form for Youth
Complete this form to become a member of our 4-H club or if you are a member of a 4-H club in a county other than Lexington County.
This is a required form which includes 1) Information about the participant and activity, 2) Permission Forms, 3) SC 4-H Behavior (4-H Code of Conduct), 4) Health Report Form, 5) Permission to Administer Medication (if applicable), 6) Participant Health & Medical History, and 7) Medical Examination (only required if you do any kind of overnight activity, but STRONGLY encouraged, and can be done by any licensed medical personnel, including a RN)

SC 4-H & FFA Rabbit and Cavy Curriculum - Project Books & Annual Reports
The South Carolina 4-H/FFA Rabbit Project is an advancement program that consists of a series of Levels which provide a framework for learning about rabbits. There are three Books: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each Book has three Levels numbered sequentially 1-9. After deciding to participate in the Rabbit Project you should begin with the Beginner Book, Level 1 to ensure a progressive learning experience.
The South Carolina 4-H/FFA Cavy Project is structured just like the Rabbit Project. It is an advancement program that consists of a series of Levels which provide a framework for learning about cavies. There are three Books: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each Book has three Levels numbered sequentially 1-9. After deciding to participate in the Cavy Project you should begin with the Beginner Book, Level 1 to ensure a progressive learning experience.
It is possible to begin with a higher Book or at a higher Level, but keep in mind each Level was intended to build on previous completed Levels and be completed in one project year. The project year begins September 1st and ends May 31st. Anything completed between June 1st and August 31st can be included in the upcoming year’s Notebook. For example, an activity done in July 2015 would be entered into the Notebook for the project year 2015-2016.
